猛暑の日、足元の池に広がっていたのは、枯れかけた蓮の葉でした。

破れ、傷み、色褪せながらも、なお水面に浮かび、陽を浴びて輝いていたのです。

その姿に私は深く感銘を受けました。

葉の生き続けようとする意志、その存在そのものが「功績」です。

本作はその時に受けた感動を、金属の輝きに変えて可視化しました。

そして、鉱石のような価値と輝きを併せ持つ、生命の美しさへの尊敬なのです。

On a scorching day, what spread across the pond at my feet were withering lotus leaves. Torn, damaged, and faded, they still floated on the water's surface, shining in the sunlight. I was deeply moved by their sight.

The leaves' will to keep living—their very existence—is an 'accomplishment.' This piece visualizes the emotions I felt at that moment by transforming them into the brightness of metal. It is not mere decoration, but a living testament that endures through time. And it is a reverence for the beauty of life, combining the value and brilliance of a mineral.
